Here is what I think...

I am just putting it out there. Our family needs to organize a Hood to Coast team. I have always wanted to do it. Edwin, Becca, and I did that relay Rainer to Pacific in Washington, and it was so much fun. I can think of a couple people that I could recruit.

It doean't have to be next year or the year after, but sometime. I am just planting the seed. Let's talk at Christmas.

Dad is online Now

Trip #2

We started out the weekend with a good idea--We were going to go out to the Columbia and find a spot on the river and camp in the boat for the second time. Of course I had enough food for a week trip! When we got to the river we did notice a little breeze hoping that it would die down by the afternoon. Dad and I got the boat in the water and headed down to find a place to beach. Well between the white knuckles I had from hanging on so tight and the look of fear in my eyes from the white caps we were bouncing through dad found a spot. Took some great pictures wanted to show off Dad's new seat which I really enjoy.
We did end up having to come home early and park in the drive way because the water just got rougher. Dad and I still had fun!

Goodbye Old Table

As worn down as the old table was, I have to admit that I was a little sad to see it go. If I would have had room I might have put it in my car and took it back to Montana with me despite Eric's disapproval. I think I could have "HGTVed" it into a whole new table, but alas, it went to the salvation army after numerous jokes that we were going to leave it in Dad's garage for storage.

Table of Love

Ok this one has been the long awaited picture. It looks so great in the dining room I just can't understand why we waited 20 some years to buy a new one. Dad and i have Kasey to thank for her help and encouragement. I was home sick from work--she was home visiting and out shopping---drug me coughing from my sick bed to check out a table at the local store--I love it --it was just what I had been looking for and can't wait until the first Christmas dinner and games to sit around it and laugh.
